Start with what you are taking.

You do not need a full container to start the conversation. Tell us where you are moving, what the boxes or suitcases contain, and their estimated weight and dimensions. We assess the available transport options and the requirements for your route.

PREPARE THE CONTENTS, NOT JUST THE BOXES

An inventory makes a small shipment clearer.

Start with a simple list for each outer package. It helps explain what you are sending, what needs review and which details are still estimated.

A structure you can follow

This example shows how to organize your list. It is not a list of accepted goods or a customs declaration.

Example package inventory structure
PackageContents — describe your actual itemsCondition
01Clothing and booksUsed
02Kitchen items; fragile pieces identifiedNew / used — specify
03Electronics; batteries listed separatelyNew / used — specify
Add gross weight, outer length × width × height and an approximate value for the contents of each package. Label estimates clearly and update them after packing.
01

Use packaging suited to the journey.

Protect the contents, close the outer packaging securely and flag fragile pieces. Tell us if you need a partner to assess packing assistance before collection.

02

Give each package a stable identity.

Number the boxes and use the same numbers in your inventory. Keep a copy of the list and photographs of the packed goods so the contents can be explained consistently.

03

Declare items needing review before sealing.

Mention batteries, liquids, food, medicines and unusual or valuable pieces. Do not assume an item is accepted because it fits in a suitcase; the route and responsible partners need to assess it.

Questions for this shipment

Does “personal shipment” mean tax-free or unrestricted?

No. The contents, purpose, owner and destination determine the assessment by the responsible partners and authorities. Share the move or travel context and declare the goods accurately; any applicable treatment needs confirmation for your case.

Can I send a suitcase without travelling with it?

Describe the route, contents and reason for sending it so we can assess transport and documentation with partners. The suitcase is part of the packing description; the available service and shipment category need their own review.

What should I do with a delivery date that is still uncertain?

Tell us the earliest date the goods can be collected and when the destination address will be ready. If temporary storage might be needed, request its assessment before choosing the transport option.

Use the freight preparation guides

BEFORE YOU PACK

Small shipment. Complete preparation.

01

List what is inside

Group clothing, books and other belongings in a clear item list. Identify batteries, liquids, fragile pieces or anything that needs a separate review.

02

Count, weigh and measure

Number your packed boxes or suitcases and record the weight and outer dimensions of each one. If sizes differ, list each group separately.

03

Describe both addresses

Tell us the cities, countries and postal codes, and whether pickup or delivery involves a residence. Mention stairs, restricted access or help needed with handling.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

A few answers
before you ship.

Every shipment has its own requirements. Here are the essentials to get started.

Ask us a question
Can I send just a few boxes or suitcases when moving?

Yes, we also assist individuals with small international moving shipments. Send an item list, the number of boxes or suitcases, weight, dimensions and route. We will assess feasibility and requirements for your shipment.

How much does international shipping cost?

The cost depends on the route, transport mode, commodity, weight, dimensions and services required. Send these details for a shipment-specific quote. Also confirm any local fees, duties and expenses that are excluded.

How long will my shipment take?

Timing depends on origin, destination, transport mode and availability. Pickup, connections, customs clearance and final delivery also affect the schedule. An estimate is provided for your route; there is no single transit time for every shipment.
