Your cargo has the container to itself. Tell us the equipment type, quantity and loading requirements, if known.
Your shipment shares container space. Package count, weight and dimensions help us assess the available options.
We can coordinate pickup, customs and onward delivery with the relevant partners, as agreed in your quote.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
The container journey is one part of the shipment. The collection point, packing and delivery scope matter too.
Share the full packed volume and weight. We can assess dedicated or shared container space, then define which origin and destination services belong in the quote.
Tell us whether goods are loose, palletized or already containerized. Include the loading location, equipment needed and the date your supplier can release the shipment.
A destination port and a final delivery address are different endpoints. Tell us where our coordination should finish and who will receive the cargo.
DECISIONS THAT SHAPE THE SHIPMENT
Container space is one decision. Handling, readiness and the receiving arrangements determine whether the option works for your cargo.
FCL and LCL should be assessed using the same origin and destination scope. A smaller shipment may suit LCL; fragile, non-stackable or unusually sized goods need a closer packing and handling review before that choice is made.
When goods come from several addresses, the collection plan needs each supplier’s ready date. Decide whether to wait for all items or assess separate shipments; extra collection, holding and consolidation should be visible in the scope.
Plan the receiver’s availability before booking. A port arrival is followed by the agreed release, collection and delivery steps, each with its own arrangements. Ask the partner to explain any free-time conditions and possible waiting or storage charges in the quote.
| Stage | What should be clear |
|---|---|
| At origin | Collection point, export handoff, loading responsibility and any consolidation. |
| Ocean movement | FCL or LCL, equipment or package basis, proposed routing and cargo acceptance. |
| At destination | Terminal services, customs partner, inland delivery and the receiving appointment. |
There is no single threshold for every route. Compare the same packed cargo and included services, then consider collection, handling and destination arrangements as well as the freight leg.
Yes, when the route and partner assessment support it and the quote includes that scope. Give the final address, access conditions and unloading needs; terminal-to-terminal and final-address quotes should be compared separately.
Send the revised package count, gross weight and dimensions before booking or collection. The space, handling and price assessment may need to change with them.
Origin, destination, cargo description, package count, weight and dimensions. Add your target ready date and any special handling requirements.
